New bath towels often won't make you dry. Is there a quick treatment to fix this?

Repeated washing will fix it but this may take weeks.New bath towels often won't make you dry. Is there a quick treatment to fix this?
1. Run new bath towels through two rinse cycles in a washing machine using cider vinegar in the first cycle only.

2. Fluff and dry without fabric softener sheet.New bath towels often won't make you dry. Is there a quick treatment to fix this?
use fabric softener. soak them in it for a short time.
Always ,always ,always put 1 cup of vinegar in your final rinse.if you do this the towels will still be lovely and soft but they will also be absorbent. If you decide to use a fabric softener for your towels they will NEVER be very absorbent and the fibres will tear quicker aswell.

So if you want your NEW towels to last a long time then take my advice. This can be done for clothes aswell.
wash them in dreft several times
I take it you don't have a lot of laundry, otherwise this won't take weeks. Just throw them in with every load. I hate this also, so I stopped buying the bath towels that are large and ';fluffy'; because they don't dry you. Now i buy the small, thinner towels, which are great, take up less washer/dryer space and do a great job!!
Repeated washings. But....if the towels were a cheap purchase then you are stuck with towels that won't absorb. Purchasing a quality towel even though it will cost a bit more - is worth it.

And no..I don't work for a retailer or a manufacturer of towels. :)
