Why do we wash bath towels.? arnt we clean wen we use them?

you are clean, but the act of drying off removes dead cells from the surface, which cling to the towel. I personally shower several times a week and wash my towel just once every 2 weeks.Why do we wash bath towels.? arnt we clean wen we use them?
You can use the towel until it smells. Smell it before taking a shower and get a clean one if it smells bad.Why do we wash bath towels.? arnt we clean wen we use them?
Mildew? its a type of mold that grows quickly in fabrics when wet..


and because everyone likes to use a clean bathtowl, well at least i do. :)
When you dry your body the towel gets wet, right ?

And when you dry your skin dead skin cells get sloughed off on the towel...ewh..


I bleach my towels actually...lol
I have had mine for years...I never wash them....Can anyone tell me why they smell so bad???
