Why do my bath towels smell bad all the time?

i cant get them to smell any good even after using tons of softner and a god amount of soap. they arent to old. and i always hang them to dry right after i use them. i have used chorine but it only helps so much. and the vinegar helped just as much as the chlorine (not much)Why do my bath towels smell bad all the time?
Try adding about a cup of baking soda to the wash water. That should deordorize them. Don't use chlorine bleach; it will rot the fabric and fade the colors. Why do my bath towels smell bad all the time?
Check to see if your washer smells bad. Some of the new High Efficiency machines can grow mold. Chlorox has a new bleach out to attack that problem. (Also clean around any door seals)

Hanging your towels out in the sunlight may help. Adding backing powder to the wash can deoderize.
I think that you are not using hot enough water to kill the bacteria in your towels. Try to hang outside if that is possible and then fluff in the dryer for 10 minutes.
try getting new bath towels, because they get stinky REALLY fast

wash them regularly and just think of other things that will help

hope i helped!
well my mom did the same thing when she washed the towels they stunk and come to find out she was putting to many in at 1 time so try putting less towels in
you could try a combination of all your answers...wash fewer and add white vinegar...your machine could need to be cleaned...just run it empty except for water and vinegar then again with water and bleach...let it sit and soak too
Less towels in washer, remove to dryer asap. Baking soda works wonders. Wash in hot or warm water.
you probably have hard water
