We pretty much use them until they get holes in them or get to thin to really dry us well. We have some we leave out for guests to use when they are visiting. We do not have to be thrifty, but doing things like not replacing things until we have to gives us extra money to do other things. We use them to clean up spills, the car, and other household chores when we do not use them to dry with any longer.Every when do you change your bath towels???
I never really thought about it until just now... but it seems that I have fallen into the habit of buying new bath towels about once every 3 years (or so has been my habit thus far). Cool question~
my family has been using the same towels for as long as i can remember. my mom recently added about 4 to our closet and i think she threw out a few too. i believe ur supposed to buy new towels maybe every 5 years, but i dont do that.
I rotate the towels in the bathrooms every 3 days I have 3 sets for each bathroom . . I haven't bought new towels in several years cause when I do I buy the best qualitiy I can afford they just last longer, when the towels do get too thin and tired for home we put them in our camper or to our place in the country to use them till they are dead . . some of the towels in the country we got as wedding gifts 18 years ago.
I don't keep them till they have holes etc. but use them till they are getting thin.Then I cut them up and use for cleaning,washing the car,rags etc.
I have several sets that I rotate through. When I want to change my current set (usually after a few days use), then you wash in hot water (don't mix colors until you know that they don't bleed). You buy new towels whenever you want to. Mine have lasted at least a few years because I have so many sets.
I use them until they start to get ratty, then I'll get new ones. Good luck. 2D
Towels last us for years. We use them for bath towels till they start to get holes, then I use them for other dirty jobs till they're really bad off.
There are just the two of us tho and I only wash towels once a week so they aren't getting worn out in the washer.
I personally try to buy towels when I catch them on sale and keep them in storage containers and about every 6 mo.put out new ones and reserve the older ones for everyday use to dry hands on. when they get holes i cut them into squares to use as dishrags or cleaning rags
Use them till their primary function is depleted......buy new ones 3 at a time (you can use only one at a time anyway) this will help cut down on the cost. Then send three old towels to the rag pile to be used until there is no other function for which they can be used...........throw away.......then walk away!
The next time towels go on sale.....buy 3 more...and so on and so on.

I have so many towels , I use a towel once then straight to the wash . So they are not too dirty when they get washed so they don麓t need to be washed on a high temp all the time. The more heat you add to clothes whilst washing them the lass they last. Can麓t remember the last time I bought new towels , it also depends on the quality of them
I change them about every two years. I don't like worn down towels but I don't really care if they're not brand new so long as they're clean!

I have many sets that I rotate out each wash so they do tend to last. I guess I buy when I feel like it and use the old for cleaning cloths.
Normally you change the hand towels depending on the use. Every other day, If you haven麓t used them and haven麓t had visits then once a week. Your bath towels may be washed every Saturday. You buy new ones when your towels loose softness and have lost volume.
