How often should you wash bath towels?

Me and my roommate have totally different opinions on this. He thinks you should wash bath towels after every use. I think that is a total waste. I wash them about every 4-7 days.How often should you wash bath towels?
I have enough towels to have a fresh one after each shower if I wash them twice a week.





If you let them dry by hanging them up then you could probably go a week. I just like the feeling and smell of fresh towels.How often should you wash bath towels?
If you have a place to put them where they will dry completely, then every 4 to 7 days is fine.





If you don't have a place to put them where they will dry completely, then you should change them daily but you can save them up and wash them once a week.
Once a week is fine if you let it dry out between uses. If it stays damp, then a few times a week. Every time seems excessive unless he's a stinky guy with especially bad odors.
I wash mine once a week as well. I just throw them over the towel rack in the bathroom and let them air dry after I use them.
After 2 or 3 uses and I hang them up to dry after each use so that they don't mildew and smell.
