Throw them back in the wash on cold, with detergeant +1 cup baking soda and 1 cup white vinegar in the rinse cycle. Both will scrub and deodorize and not leave any stink on them. Just don't put both into the wash cycle as you might blow up your washer. That's how we make reactive cold packs and volcanoes. How do u get the moldy smell out of ur clothes and bath towels??? 10 points everyone?
wash them again using vineger.let them soak.you could also hang them out to air dry.why do they smell soooo bad only after two days?
and when you re-wash, its better to UNDER stuff than to over stuff the washer. Adequate water/soap needs to flow easily during agitation to ensure a thorough wash.
soak in hot water, detergent and white vinegar then wash and dry promptly
try hanging them out to dry
a very quick way is to start the rinse cycle again and add a
generous amount of scented fabric softener. This is very
good if time is short.
First get them dry and air them out outside. Than rewash them. I know you said viniger did not help but once you get them aired out try it again, use vinigar in the wash and than air dry them. It may take few tries to kill the musty smell but I have recovered things many times
